Application and selection procedure
To apply for any of the current opportunities click on the 'Current Opportunities' link and then on the specialism link you are interested in. You can then click on the apply button for that vacancy. Once you click apply you will then be given the option to go to the Health and Safety Executive application section for that vacancy.
After clicking continue, please then open and read 'Quick Guide for External Applicants'. Select online recruitment system under the title 'To Apply' and proceed with your application. When you are in the Online Application Wizard please work across the tabs completing each one. You must complete the application form. You must upload your CV and covering letter at tab 5 which is entitled 'attachments'. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an acknowledgment. Applications will be reviewed and scored on the evidence provided against the competencies specified. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview comprising technical, behavioural and a presentation.
